Extra! Extra! read all about it

I've got quite a lot of chunky pieces on the newstand's this month so I thought I'd share.

My first piece for the brilliant ANP Quarterly (Vol 2 No 7) with a large piece on the work of Keith Arnatt - you can read it online too here!

A massive six page piece on the rise of abstraction in the March issue of Dazed - which includes interviews with Bob Nickas, Jacob Kassay, Niall McLelland, Keltie Ferris, David Ostrowksi and Alex Hubbard.

An interview with Maureen Paley at her very private and very amazing seaside flat in Hove in AnOther

And the current issue of Twin is still on shelves - the blue issue no 7 - which includes features on Josephine Meckseper, Goshka Macuga, a brilliant curated project by Hanne Mugaas, and a portfolio of Paul McCarthy work among other things that I'm proud of.

Happy 100

The book launch at b store went brilliantly - and the small show in the window featuring Lilah Fowler and Sam Griffin will be up for a while.

You can read me talking about the book here online here:

ABC

Some of my work has burst out there today. Looking at this list no wonder I'm knackered...

* The press announcement about the show I'm curating at MU has gone out into the ether! It opens April 8 The New Psychadelica (Sample image above by Yoshi Sodeoka).

* I curated an art alphabet for AnOther magazine's 10th anniversary issue - I'm really proud we've got letters from Paul Noble, John Baldessari, Susan Hiller, Tal R, Marnie Weber etc. It's the biggest art project the magazine has ever done.

* Read some of my interview with Hedi Slimane here (another version is in the May issue of Dazed alongside a piece on Mike Nelson).

* I'm sitting on a panel you can buy tickets for about fashion and film for the Birds Eye Film Festival on March 9 at 6pm at the NFT1 (giving an art perspective).

* Dazed Live festival tickets go on sale (i'm curating the exhibitions in the show).
